Information we process

You can browse public company and fund pages without an account. Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages, request times, and error logs to deliver and protect the service. Searches are included in the search-results URL and may appear in browser history and request logs.

If you use an account, we process the information needed to authenticate you, including your name, email address, session information, and a securely hashed password where password sign-in is used. If you choose a third-party sign-in provider, we receive the account information that provider shares with your authorization. Information you email us is used to respond to your request.

How we use information

We use information to operate the site, maintain accounts, prevent abuse, investigate errors, answer requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, this processing relies on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable service, legal obligations, or your consent where applicable.

Cookies and browser storage

We use essential cookies for authentication when you sign in. Browser storage may remember display preferences such as your selected theme. You can clear browser storage or block cookies in your browser; doing so may affect sign-in and saved preferences.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited, which searches are run, and which features are used. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, and referring sites; it does not receive your name or email address. We do not use it for advertising. You can block these cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Service providers and disclosures

Cloudflare provides hosting, delivery, security, and object-storage services. Google provides website analytics. Database hosting and sign-in providers may process information needed to provide their services. These providers may process data in countries other than your own. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the service and its users.

Retention and security

We retain account information while needed to provide the account, and technical logs and correspondence for as long as needed for their operational, security, and legal purposes. Backup copies may remain until their normal expiry. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
